It is a straight rock patch without rappelling it is not possible. Small waterfall are still flowing from that point

Rugged terrain, sharp mountain cutouts and challenging routes, that’s Real Challenge through gigantic rocks.

2nd Rock patch of 7 ft of Sandhan Valley सांधण व्हॅली.

This is the second rock patch that we had to cross. There is a direct 10 feet fall from that point and there had no room to hold leg or hand for support in rocks. At left hand side, we saw small hole in the rocks though which we crossed to the other side. To the other side there was a 7 feet direct fall, and very few spot to hold on to. We pinned our self to the rocks and came down. While doing so one of my friends Sumant took a fall.

Some times things go wrong

During 3rd patch, when Hrishikesh rappelled dawn, his leg slipped and he was hanging on a rope. He suffered minor injury.

We spend total 5 hr. to cross Big & small rock patches to reach base of Sandhan from Main Sandhan valley end point. That was challenging task

At base of Sandhan valley, there is way for Bann Pinnacle at right hand side. Bann Pinnacle is much popular for climbing.

In evening 6 pm we reach at the base and we set up our camp. We made hot tea and soup and started preparation for dinner.

Everyone was helping to cook chicken for dinner. We were chatting about different issues. Hrishikesh had given information about different tourist and trekking spot in India to Michaela & Lene

Other friends were busy in chatting and cooking I went to other side to capture night stars. The whole sky is full of stars that hardly seen from our city.

This is my first star trail shot so I took time for initial camera setting; instead of North Pole I took Bann pinnacle in my frame.

This is our camp side it is very beautiful place. On one side there is mineral clean water that flows throughout the year. Just below the camp side there is a pond with small waterfalls.

Around 9am we left our base and started journey back towards Samrad via karoli ghat 

As Karoli Ghat is near Kokan side, so intensity of sun is high though it was morning. Yashwant brought big natural Awla (Indian Goose Berry), we ate it with salt.
